After the sand pad is constructed ACUS will construct your tank.
Then we require you to place blue metal around the water tank on top of the sand in order to prevent rain water erosion around your residential rain tank.

Please advice if power is available on site, and the length of power lead required to reach the tank centre.
SAND PAD.
If the site is to be filled to more than 150mm the base filling is to compact enough to prevent subsidence of the site and tank.
It is not necessary to make the sand topping compact (top 100mm). If the site is sloping the owner must ensure adequate drainage is cut around the edge of the sand pad to ensure that no water is allowed to flow around the edge of the tank or under the tank, and to prevent erosion.
Please arrange for the day of installation 14000 litres of water.
This is the owner's responsibility to do.
Water can come from rain or from the ground where the tank location has been cut into a bank. After installation the owner is responsible to place 7-100mm of blue metal 600mm wide around the edge of the tank to prevent erosion of the sand pad.
Sufficient blue metal must be placed around the base of the tank to eliminate erosion from roof run off or other flowing water. Should there be run off from surrounding areas that could erode the sand pad, the purchaser must provide a suitable drainage system.
Important Note:
If the site is not ready, or the installers have to organize the site to have the tank installed and the site is not ready then all the expenses that involve in mileage, labour, and any extras will be forwarded to the customer. If sand is greater than 150mm in thickness please compact the sand or the tank may sink into the sand. Please ensure tank area is free from trees (recommended: 6m away from the wall of the tank). This is to ensure roots do not grow under tank. ACUS takes no responsibility for root/grass growth. All excess vegetation ie: roots and grass must be removed and always be kept clear of the tank.
SHIRE PERMITS
It is the purchaser's responsibility to check with the local Shires and Councils with regard to building licenses, building envelopes and any bylaws.
READY TO INSTALL.
It is also the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that all the above conditions are met and work is completed before the installation date.
If the above conditions and site works are not to the satisfaction of the installer, he reserves the right to correct the site works and charge accordingly. Alternatively, he will leave the site and a call out charge will be levied. A new installation date will be arranged.
After the completion of a signed order form, the compliance of the above conditions and full payment, your conditional warranty will be validated.
